Benefit Bluegrass show for
Banjo player Jack Sanbower from the MD area.
12 hours of music 12 noon to 12 midnite 4/12/08.
Americal Legion Hall 935 Main st., Hellertown, Pa. just off rte 78.
Jack has cancer and needs help paying medical bills.
Donation $15 at the door. Food, bar and bake sale.
More than 10 bands have been lined up for this event to help Jack.
If you are a BG picker bring your insturment, there is jamming in other parts of the building or just go around and listen up close.
Two of the bands are The Rairitan Valley Ramblers from NJ a really good local band and if you like the Jimme Martin style, Louie Setzer can fiil that bill.
Hear the best in Gitar, Mandolin, Banjo, Fiddle, big base and Dobro on stage plus any suprise specialty band like a jug band.
The next day a seperate event, the AFBA has their BG shindig 12 noon to 5 pm with jamming and stage show with many of the same bands that may stay overnite at 1/2 the admission.
