I've had a little bit of leakage upstairs through the roof recently so I'm thinking I'll try to knock the snow that's deep on the edges of my roof. This is the first time I've lived in a snowy climate.
Around here roof code is 140lbs. sqr.ft.,that's at least 5ft.of snow on the roof.So if the roof meet's code, and mine does, should never need to shovel the roof.We were expecting rain(which we got)so figured to be safe,I best get the snow off.I notice the weight of the snow when my front door start's to rub on the door frame. If you have ice build up at the edge of your roof,it will creep up and under the shingles, which could result in leakage. And damage your shingles. What I do is use a roof snow rake,it's like a flipped over snow shovel with a long handle, purchased at local hardware store, and pull the the first 4ft. off the roof.It keeps the ice from building up.I hace cedar shakes, they look good, but probably the worst type of roof for around here.I'm hoping to put a metal roof up in the next couple of years.

I aint very ugly... But Kitts chicks are just stuck up. They're mostly little rich girls with nothing better to do than hang out at the beach....

HOWEVER, I found where all the really HAWT Vancouver chicks hang out in the off season..... Cypress Mountain, and most of them work there too

Man I really love my job....

Yeah, its a tough job, but someone has to do it.... Yesterday it was bright and sunny, and the lovleys were out in force, wearing just light shirts or T's.... I had to tell a couple that it was only the cold that had frozen my pants like that. :P :P :P
