Well fellers let me add yesterday to my "Where were my brains at days." I went in town to visit my daughter and grandkids..about 15mi. away. It took me 2 hours! It's Sat. and the roads are filled with shoppers. Anyways. When the grandkids lay down to take their naps I said to my daughter.."Lets go Christmas shopping for the kids now!" Folks I don't know where I left my brains at. It's Saturday...10 days before Christmas...a bad winter storm is coming Sat. night. Duh! Daughter lives 5 min. from WalMart..took an hour to get there and I think we parked somewhere up near Canada and walked for days to get to the store. In the door..had to fight some ole lady for a cart. Fought the crowds and had to go back and armwrestle another old coot for a second cart. Filled that one up to! Headed for the checkouts and the lines was clean back to the bathrooms at the rear of the store. Good thing! I tallied up the bill in my head and almost ruined a new Depends!! Finally made it to the counter about 3 days later. One of them Speedy Checkout counters. Scan yer own stuff thingys. The woman in front of us took hours to scan and then couldn't find a credit card. (sighhhhh...) Finally our turn. Daughter knows this new tech stuff! Ripped $300 out of my bank account so fast I nearly swooned! Hauled all this stuff to the truck and dropped it and daughter off at her home..headed for the beer distributer. Got home just as the storm hit. Now 2in. of sleet on the ground. Not a problem..I got beer and ain't moving from my chair! Merry Christmas ya'll! Audie..the oldfart..

 

Drink 1 for me. Been there done that . But it was up hill both ways . And the restrooms were closed. Later larry

 

wal mart wasnt bad today!! of course we didnt get near as much snow have a few for me tho wife went shoe shopping

 

I was at wall mart yesterday and had to go to the bathroom. Guess what it was boarded up they were remodeling the craper right in the middle of christmass shoping season. Needless to say I had to make a run for the home depo, barley made it in time.
