You shouldn't have any issue with the leveling kit and the stock shocks. You are lowering the shock mounting point to get the lift that you want. This is why all you need is the spacer for the front and not more parts.
I just put the auto spring 2.5" kit in the front and an add a leaf in the back. Truck looks really good (needs bigger tires now), still rides the same as it did the day i drove it off the lot. I would definetely suggest putting the add a leaf in when leveling the truck. It keeps a really nice stance and ensures that the back stays higher than the front.
