I have a 97 Ford F-150 4.6 that the oil preasure fluxuates spuraticaly. I have installed a new oil pump along with sending unit. The pick-up screen is clear of obstructions. Truck runs good there are really no apparent engine noises to suggest bearing problems. Seems to me to be an obstruction somewhere is there some place that is proned to do this.

Any help would be appreciated,

Time to tee in a mechanical gauge so you can get real readings of the actual pressure.

Reminder: The in-dash "gauge" is only a mechanical idiot light. It should read mid-scale whenever oil pressure, as sensed by the sender switch, is over 5 or 6 psi.
