Throttle Body Spacer

If I have a aftermarket 75mm throttle body on my 2003 f150 king ranch 5.4L V8 will a stock airraid throttle body spacer fit and does anyone know if it helps any?

Personally i wouldnt get one even if it did fit. In most cases they are an expensive paperweight. You probably wouldnt benifit from it.

its true....you will see no benefit at all from a spacer....you actually might even see a decrease in fuel mileage.

all the spacer does is cause the air to wrap itself up and hold back flow.

hot rod magazine gained 1 hp and 5lb tq on a pontiac 400 that they where building up... that was after upgrading many other things.... i dont know if it works the same for fuel injected engines as carb'd engines..

No it will work better in a carbed engine because it will mix the fuel and air better in the carb, but on a Fuel Injected motor it usually doesnt benefit.

I dont think it has much to do with the actual mixing... but more to do with the volume of air in the intake....but since the 4.6l has a variable volume intake...it dosnt make much sense...but the 5.4l doesnt have the variable volume intake....maybe it will help more on it....
