Does anyone else here freakin' love the way that Diesel smells? Diesel exhaust... Diesel fuel... the only thing that smells better is nitrous hanging in the air at the drag strip.

I also love the way new tires smell so maybe this is a sign of being addicted to horsepower. Is there a 12 Step program? Or maybe a men's aftershave that smells like Diesel exhaust and new tires?

I've always loved the smell of diesel smoke since I was a little kid.

Other people have said I'm weird for it.

I also like the smell of race gas

 

I like going to the tire shop at Sam's club or Costco.

As far as diesel goes, it is better smelling than gas on my hands.
Eating lunch with either of the two on my hands does suck.

I'm okay with diesel exhaust coming from a Case backhoe(not much of a choice though).

I like the smell of a rich running carbbed gas engine too.

I like the smell of diesel exhaust, 117 octane racing fuel being burned in a 431 ci small block Ford, and VHT being sprayed on the dragstrip.

 

Not just the smell of the diesel exhaust, but the sound of the motor too! I also enjoy the new tire smell, and new leather... WTF is wrong with us?

When I was a kid the only time I got to smell diesel burning was when I was riding on a tractor, but now ever time I stop with my window down I get to. I love the straight pipe.

 

Got that right. Now if I could convince my wife to enjoy the sound of the IDI on fast idle and advance when it's cold.LOL

 

I will never fix the flu pipe leak on my oil burner. I tell people its a automatic air freshener to me!
