Hey NumberDummy (and anybody else)

Did Ford offer any other rearend besides the 9 inch in the 1971 F150?

The reason why I ask is I have found a 71 rearend for sale but all the ad says is "1971 F150 truck rearend". I know what the 9 inch looks like so I can identify them. I was just wandering if I should go expecting it to be a 9 inch or what.

9 out of 10 ten times it will be a 9". You could get a dana 44 or Dana 60 but they were mainly in 4wd trucks.

The "f-150" part might be miss leading as the first year for that was 1976.
