Hey Mike forgot to mention that this morning when I ran to the store when I got back I scared it and it disappeared into the woods and then a doe and fawn showed up out of know where. I ran up to the house to get the camera to take pictures but Mike was already out on the porch, in his tighty-whities and shaking like a leaf lol out there with his camera already he scared me out there lol.

No, no buck this year. I didn't put in for a tag. Hunting partner moved away, and it just didn't seem it would be quite the same. I thougt I'd wait a year or two, save some dough and maybe go to Colorado for an Elk.

I have deer coming through my yard all the time and I live in a residential area.
They usually forage for the apples on the ground in the backyard and it really sets the dogs off.
The one time is snowed here (week ago or so) hoofprints from 4 of them were around the yard.
One night last winter there were about 17 of them walking then trotting down the street about 1 am.
I'm only about 300 ft from the entrance to the woods.
