$129 Gas tank Source?

I have decided to just replace my tank instead of trying to seal it. Several months ago there was a link to a company that had factory replacement tanks for a 56 f-100 for $129 (I think) LMC is 199 so the $70 difference is worth shopping a bit.

Anybody have an idea of where it was. Search did not turn up anything.

Thanks in advance for your response.

Jay

I have a pristine used 56 tank complete with filler neck. cap and sender that I could part with for a very reasonable price.

PM me. The shipping is what will cost ya. I'm in CA. I understand Greyhound ships big stuff for a pretty low price.

Tanks, Inc has them for $175:

How long ago did you get the $129 price? With the price of steel everything has gone up.

I believe the tank pictured is from a 53-55, the 56 was behind the seat. How did you insert the picture by the way.

First you have to have the image somewhere on the internet, like your gallery:

Right click on the image and click on "Properties"

After the Properties widow pops up highlight and copy the URL of the image

Go to the posting page and click on the image icon.

When the User Prompt window pops up paste the URL of the image you copied

Then click "OK" and you image should be inserted into your post with the neccesary coding.
