Front dana 50 axle, 3850 or 4600lb?

I have a 94' F250 that is in need of front balljoints, but it looks like there are two types depending on the weight capacity of the axle(3850 or 4600lbs). There is no tag on the axle anywhere, but the Ford sticker is still there so I was able to decode the axle via Dana's website.

Dana P/N: 610439-3 Mfgr: 16-Feb-94 3.54 STD
(In big letters) D-2 0 5-8
Ford P/N: F3TA-3002-AZB
S/N: 2940204714

I knew it had 3.55 gears from the rear axle tag. The Dana lists it as a Dana 50 "snow fighter" axle....hehehe.

The only other info I have to go off of is the GAWR and reserve weights on the door sticker. The front GAWR is 3559 and the rear GAWR is 6084lbs. The rear axle is rated at 6250lbs, and the front axle reserve capacity is 200lbs. Given that info, I assume I have the 3850lb axle. Does this seem reasonable?

I hate to take it all apart to find I have the wrong parts.

Look closely at the right axle tube just adjacent to the removable cover (on front axles-left side on rear axles). Dana bolted a 2" x 1/2" metal tag there, the code, when decoded, ID's the front axle.

On the trucks Certification Label (white plastic sticker) you will find two GVWR's...front & rear.

610439-3 is the Dana Axle Code, it's not a part number. It's the same code found on the axle tubes metal plate.

The highest reference # I have is 610355. If you can't find out till Monday, call FTE sponsor Green Sales and ask them to decode that 610349-3 number. that'll tell you what you want to know. (800-543-4959)

I looked all over the axle and can find no metal tag, just the large yellow/white tag on the RH traction beam which has all the info I posted above.

This is an Ohio truck so there is a good deal of rust, so it's possible that the tag just didn't make it this far. I guess I'll call Ford tomorrow. It works out well since now I can drive it for a week while soaking the bolts in PB blast so they won't be such a pain to remove in a week or two.
