A Good Post
I have had my 08 F450 4x4 4.88 for about 3 months. I have 3000 miles on it.. 2200 miles of that have been towing a 18000 lb 5th wheel. I have had Zero problems other than the radiator leak from the crimp joints. The engine is strong and truck has been flawless. MPG are low but what do you expect with a 9000 lb truck with 4.88. This is my third Diesel truck my other trucks where Chevy, one was an 02 an my last was a 06, Had some problems with them but i was over weight with both.
My point to all this is i sit back and read all the post from trolls and it seems to be over taking the positive post. So this one is for the guys that are having great luck with there new 6.4.
Ps. i am not brand biased.

I climbed under mine to drain the fuel filter today. While I was under the truck I decided to check for some of the problems that others have posted. Gerotor cover was clean and dry, radiator crimps were dry. No sign of seepage from the turbo or anywhere else. Seems I will have nothing to complain about when it goes in for an oil change. I am "happy as a pig in you know what" with my truck.

I have been around the block a few times. My first new truck was a 1956 Ford. I have owned nothing but Ford's since then.
I have only had my 08 450 for a month, towed once over a pass to the Oregon coast. But I can tell you this truck is as close to perfect as you can get for towing heavy, or hauling a massive load with the comfort and style of a luxury car. I guess it is because it is a well made luxury pick up.
I was going to wait for the second year new model, but after driving one, I was hooked. It's going to be a great pickup.

I have 2000 miles on my 08 PSD and love it. No problems. Mileage is not an isse as I came to my Ford from an H2. That pig got about 9 mpg. Even if the 6.4 got the same it would be an improvement as the Ford is much bigger inside and much more useful. I get about 11 mpg around town now and about 15mpg hwy. This truck is comfortable, has great acceleration and is just sweet to look at. In my opinion it is at this time the best truck available.

I agree with the above. I bought my truck to pull, and it does that very well. It doesn't get the mileage I would like, but maybe a chip can address that issue at some point in the future. My truck has no leaks, strange noises or anything else wrong with it. Besides, it just looks darn good!
