Front Suspension in 2008 Ranger 2WD Sport

Hi!

I'm hoping if someone can answer this question for me.

Does my 2008 Ranger 2WD Sport supercab 3.0L V6 have "torsion bar" front suspension like the Edge model had?

Or "control arm" front suspension?

TIA!

I can't tell you for sure, but it would be easy enough to look at it and tell. If you don't see a coil spring, then it's T-bar.

Yes, Sports do not have springs. Do you like it so far?

Loving it so far!

It's a change from what I'm used to driving (turbo svt focus) but it's still a blast!

So I've been told you can raise and lower this type of suspension setup by simply tightening or loosening the torsion bars...

Can someone explain how this is done? Or link me to a resource which gives instruction on this?

Thanks a ton!
