"I gotta run out to my "fake 450" and get my "fake" can of copenhagen, haha.

Cowboy Steve"

Been awhile since Cowboy Steve has reported on his "fake" 450, maybe he will chime in.

A friend of mine straight piped a 6.7 dodge, he said it made a tremendous difference. Only reason I think this is realavant is because of the particulate filters

I will probably straight pipe mine in the future but I'm undecided if I will leave a dummy on or cut it off and save to possibly reuse, if that is posible, I havent looked into it further.

From what I'm reading over on some of the Dodge boy's forums, it's a lot more than a CEL that happens. Sounds like the thing goes into a limp mode or even shuts down when it "calculates" the DPF (that no longer is there) gets full and can't be regenerated...

To make the truck run properly with no DPF the computer needs to be reprogrammed. There is a company doing it right now, KEM performance. Haven't gotten much info back from them. But SCT is finnaly putting out a program for my 6-speed manual, and I've already got the DPF delete program and delete pipe on order. I should be able to get you some info soon. Hopefully.

well heres what i have, i won't post dyno numbers here but i have the SCT extreme tuner, AFE intake and a dpf back 5" magna flow exhaust. this combination makes some serious power.
and then i did the dpf delete and had the computer reprogrammed to disable the regen, and i lost power not much but enough, that i put the dpf filter back on to keep the warranty valid and i still have a quiet truck that don't **** off the nieghbors, and more power then anyone running around without the dpf.heres my ride in action.
