Yep, it was an auto. 4:10 gears. That darn thing would keep gaining speed as long as your foot was to the floor. It just took forever. The boat was always covered in soot on one side, and really messy in the rain.

I do sometimes wish I had it cause you never got a check engine light with that old truck. Now if a light comes on in the PSD you have no idea what it could be ithout a reader. My IDI got 8MPG but thats cause I cranked the fuel up, adj the governor, and advanced the timing. That truck would roll the smoke all to heck, and would do a burnout that would make a musclecar look bad...something about black/white smoke all at the same time that looks awesome. It was a 1990 F350 w/450 rear suspension, Reg cab, Auto E4OD, 4.10LS, Repainted, new bumpers, Turbocharged. It was a good truck I liked it but the inside was kinda nasty clean as I could get it, but it was a custom. In the middle of the winter it could be 15 degrees outside and I wait for the GP light to go out and a little extra time then it would start almost as soon as I touch the key. Bought it from a city auction for 375 bucks, didnt run, had utility bed, dents, scratches, it wasnt nice by any means, bought it May 05 sold it May of 06 and got my powerstroke just before I sold it. After I got it all fixed up nice someone from utah wanted to buy it, bought it for 3200 bucks. Got my PSD from a heavy equipment auction for 2700 dollars. BTW I was only 16 when I bought the IDI and fixed it up all with the help from FTE. Then 17 when I bought my PSD. Ive had the PSD a year and half and love it. Check out my gallery I have before and after of the IDI and my PSD is there too.
