Flow Master Super 44 on the 00 Windstar!

Hey guys, you wouldnt believe the crazyiness that has gotten into my brothers and I. We got my two Super 44 mufflers laying around from my true dual, and we figured to mess around we put a Super 44 on our 2000 Windstar. Its going to be funny as hell. We have to work a 48 hour weekend shift with handicap kids and this is our van we use, and we cant stand to be away from our trucks that long and the exhaust so we figured what better to put a loud muffler on a van we need to use for work. I mean I know its weird, but this thing is very fast and powerful, I think its even with my F350 off the line ,so theres no messing around lol, but we plan to get some videos up ASAP, but its going to sound bas ***, and it will be a sleeper.

haha thanks dude. it came out okay i suppose. It still sounds super muffled still. I dont want to spend any more money on it tho lol. I think its the cat in the y-pipe thats restricting the flow, but then again i dont want to mess with o2 sensors on a vaaannnnn

If its just as faster or faster than your truck casts some serious doubt on the idea of those cats being restrictive. The factory cats, will tone down the exhaust, but I don't think they penalize the power to speak off. Truth be told, for that size motor those cats are actually a tad large. The real torque and power comes from the pipe size in the y-pipe. Very good design on the part of Ford.

deff incredible the power thats hiding beheind a damn VAN. But its always sort of been the joke that was true about how much power this thing has. We have 165,000 miles on it, and havent had to do one thing to it other than routine maitenance. There built tough, and she prob still has got another 60,000 miles left on her until some rebulding may be needed.

What engine is in that Windstar? I would like to make my 3.0 Aerostar go faster, but I don't think a free flowing muffler will help. Also wife's van, so can't have noisy muffler. Maybe bigger stock muffler.
