Just Offering - Charlotte AutoFair

I am planning to go to Charlotte Autofair this Saturday.
http://www.charlotte-autofair.com/

I may meet -Wiz427 there. Does anyone need me to keep an eye out for them anything? I can write down names and numbers and PM when I get back with the info. I will mainly be on the hunt for 53-56 F100 parts, imagine that? Also I will be bugging the vendors that have ac units with questions. I will be going to Dennis Carpenter picking up a part for a buddy and maybe one for myself. I plan to take pictures mainly F1 and F100's thru 72 and will post when I get back. Let me know prior to 9pm CST Friday if you want me to look out for you anything. Just thought in the brotherhood of this hobby we enjoy I would offer. Thanks Donald

The only thing i'm missing for this weekend is a wagon to put stuff in so i don't have to carry it everywhere.

Cool, I'll probably see ya there. Last week parking wasn't a problem. We got there around 5:30 - 6 if I remember correctly.

Using the hotel's "Business Center" computer here in Concord. Went to the Autofair today. Got to meet Wiz427 and his beautiful bride. We talked for about 20 minutes then I was off to swap meet. Not many F100's here at all. I saw a total of 3. A 55 and 2 56's. Going back in the morning to look and help a friend load. I will be posting my pictures when I get back home next Friday. Visited Dennis Carpenter and bought a couple of parts and a T-shirt. I missed seeing the new 53-56 hood by about 10 minutes they had put it up and wont be showing it tomorrow. Tomorrow is Blue Field as I covered all of the orange field today after a late start, 1pm. Wife spent $100 at the mall and I spent about $32 at the swapmeet. What's wrong with that picture? Was a guy begging me to make him an offer on 2 slantcab door that were marked at $75 a piece. May look at them again and see how bad he doesn't want to take them home.

It's too bad we are leaving Wed for Topeka and our national championship races, or we would have joined you at Charlotte, it's only about 2 1/2 hrs away.

We had a good time yesterday, It was a pleasure meeting you Donald. We were going to go up today but have to take care of a couple things here. We covered the whole infield yesterday and managed to get a few things for the 351 but thats about it. There were a whole bunch of c!@^y parts there but one of the guys told us that the spring show has more Ford parts for some reason guess we'll see.

Heres a funny! Towards the end we found a guy the had a few saddles for sale and May bought one for a good price. On the way out we had several people ask how we managed to find a saddle in a auto swap meet? I told them the horse broke down so i had to get a ride home.
