Can't see any pics on here of the trucks with the visor. I called McMillan and asked him about the visors. He confirmed that there are no pics on the site that he is aware of but said he has a pic of them in his catalog. He is currently sending me a copy of the catalog.

visor happy

I'm with you on this one.
I have been searching for a visor for my 50 f1 and have found a few beaters over $200 and one new production that was universal. I could not do the universal as it had two panels that slid in and out to make width. Just could not look at the off center seem and be happy. I have considered making my own as this would be a small size project with lots of geometric challange for the un schooled metal shop kind of guy. I like a challenge. I have other pressing items in the long term build first, but love the idea.

Found a used visor from a 1953 Fulton $250.00. Owner says that the width is adjustable but not sure about the curvature between the visor and the cab? What do you think?

$250 is a bit steep.

I like the look, A bit of a risk without being able to hold it up to yours. I found one I liked at a portland swap meet and I thought it would fit. As luck would have it there was an F1 cab for sale just across from this guy so he let me take it over to see how it would fit. Not even close, would have been a big mistake and if the f1 wasn't there I would have taken it home. Carefull.

Are there any guidelines to go by for setting one of these on the cab? Do you just eyeball it, or is there a "formula" for getting them to look right?

$250 may be a little spendy but I like the looks of it versus the flat looking ones that are shown in the previous visor pics that have been posted. If it don't work I may just use it as a wall hanging like the current owner is doing.
