my buddies are participants in Hot Rod magazines drag week event, they called me today, sharing the itinerary for today. it came through town and had to stop and get a pic of there car in front of the rockford speedway. so when i got off work, i picked up my 5 yr old princess at school and we went to the speedway, to watch the cars. was she a trooper, it was raining and sub 60 degree temps, and she stayed outside with me, waving, cheering, clapping and oowwinng and ahing. we were outside for 2 hours checking out the iron, she was talking to anybody that would talk to her, throwing the devils horns, and just loving the cars. I was so proud of her, never complained. she loved the cars, and guys were putting on a show for her, she thought it was cool. There were some jayholes that were to hardcore or whatever, but most of them thought the pretty little girl in the pink dress was cool. the people there for the adventure were the ones most likely to indulge a little girl. she got her picture taken in several of the guys proof of passing pics. she met a few aussies that flew over bought cars to participate with and then ship home. they were cool gave her a couple of aussie coins, and yucked it up with her. the overall leader got an escort to a restaurant by me ( his et radials were not very good in the water), so they claimed they were gonna lobby the hot rod editor to put her pic in the mag. hope it happens that would be the icing on her little piece of cake today. i am so proud of her, my daughter rocks!

any of you sickos try and tell me to tell my daughter HHHIIIII!, and i am roadtrippin to your beatin. hahaha, ! i am glad she digs cars. sorry about my rant, but i had to brag about my daughter, thanks for looking. Dan

I took my daughter to her first gun show this weekend. Ok, she's only 5 months old but I know she had fun. I was going to buy pink gun if I found one. Going to have to get one custom anodized one of these days!

Too cool. I have three girls that I'm corrupting with my car sickness. The only thing that worries me is how many guys are going to be chasing these girls when they are so into cars? I've got my shotgun ready for 'em.
