Increases throttle response gets fuel in quicker by opening injector sooner. I think Beans or BTS will exchange a modded one for $100. You can put a sd idm in and boost injector voltage to 120 stock 97olderis 100. Modded are 140volts.

I got mine from Beans for 100 beans. LOL Mine is '97 so I jumped 40 volts. I could barely tell a difference but it was noticeable.

I see you can do it yourself. I might go and try to find one at the junk yard and give it the old college try. Do IDM"s go bad often?

I guess it all depends on how ambitous you are and how cheap the spare IDM is.

Well I live near there so I drove there and changed it in the lot. ~ 5 minutes. I believe will take them a few days possibly. He may have one there already done. He will send you one and charge you a core and then you can send yours back if you want. Call them to see, I usually speak with Dusty.

Okay, I found one at the local Pick and Pull out of a 00 superduty. 15 bucks out the door. Does the same mod wrok if I try to make it a 140 one? I should problaby just leave it alone but where"s the fun in that?
