GPR Cutoff Switch In

Yesterday I installed my GPR cutoff switch. I switched the hot wire to the relay primary side. Mounted the switch at the top left of the little cubby on the right side of the steering wheel near the bottom of the dash. Works great. I think this mod is a good idea for extending GP life. GPs are not needed in the summer at all.

its an easy mod, all you need is a $1.50 on off switch frm walmart and a roll of bulk wire, put the switch wherever you want in the cab and run the wires out to the glow plug relay, cut the pcm signal wire at the relay and install your switch inline,

Thx, i understand all that. Some do more elaborate installs for a cleaner look. Thats all. Just wanting to peak inside his cab for ideas.

I'll post up some pics later tonight. Time. I'm trying to get as much done as I can with the good weather we have now. Taking a quickie lunch break now.

Westtntrucker, since you asked, here are a couple pics:

Here's the relay. I put the switch in line with the small red wire w/ the light green looking stripe. I think the stripe is actually white - just looks pale green in the pic. I ran the wire through a hole in the firewall just above the gas pedal.

Here's the switch in the dash. I didn't bother to hook up the light. These types of switches look a whole lot cleaner than metal toggles.
