Ford vs Dodge
I have a friend who owns a 2001 dodge cummins that will not shut up about how bad his truck is. He has an edge module and 5 inch exhaust. Do you think my 2006 psd with 4 inch exhaust and Matts aggressive street tune will out run his dodge? Same gears my truck is supercrew and his is extended cab. He has a 4 inch lift and 35 inch tires.
Thanks

In the long run you'll get him, but I can tell you coming from an 02 dodge to an 06 ford, the dodge does not have that initial lag that the ford does right off the line. That really is about the only good thing I can say about it, I do know once you do get that old dodge up to speed you have to fight to keep it there longer then you do with the Ford, but I do miss that initial start power that the dodge had. I think you'll be able to do it.

Run him. My 06 runs circles around dodges with just a chip or programmer. Ive beat alot of trucks with just my street tune. Fords are damn quick with just a tuner, but once those dodges or chevys do alittle more then a tuner, we stuggle to keep up. Go out and have some fun, be careful and let us know the outcome (even know I know who is going to win).
