91 F150 manual clutch/trans problems

Hi all! I have read over a lot of the clutch questions/replies already posted here, but they don't seem to describe my problem exactly. So, here's whats happening: My truck doesn't want to go into gear easily, especially 1st and ESPECIALLY reverse. The clutch pedal itself sits really low to the floor when disengaged unless you pull it up to the top with your foot. This has been the same since I bought the truck about 2 years ago. It has never been this difficult to get into gear though. The reservoir for the clutch looks full. I'm going to go out and check the fluid level in the trans right now. Any ideas?

more than likely the internal slave. if you will replace the clutch and slave your problem will be fixed.

Just an update, I had the bushings replaced in the pedal assembly and it is 99 percent better.
