Just a stupid story I thought I'd share...

A buddy and me were sitting on my back porch yesterday night, drinking a few beers and having a couple shots, in celibration of use both getting a 4 day weekend. As we're sitting there we start talking about my 82 F100, as we can see her sitting in the backyard, in semi-retirement. We talked about memories from highschool when I bought the truck.

After a couple minutes my buddy subjested since my truck "aint doing nothin tomorrow" we should get it drunk. Half trashed myself, I thought at the time what a great idea. I popped the hood, poured a shot, and dumped it down the carb. He said it wont work unless she running, so I started it, she bogged real bad for a second and then ran just fine. As we stood there laughing I poured her another shot down the carb, it sputtered and missed for a couple seconds and then ran normal.

I think the truck took about 5 shots of jack before I decided to go in the house and get the Everclear. I poured her a shot of Everclear, dumped it in, she sputtered for a second, then she backfired a huge flame out the carb and stalled. Just her way of saying shes had enough.

I left her over night to sleep it off, I started her this morning and went for a spin, shes still running fine. Moral of the story, just because my 300 is 25 years old, with 237,000 miles, it dosen't mean she wont party with the best of em.

Be careful she might get used to the good life and want to party all the time.

 

I'm going to try this with my '77. She's been seeming a little down lately. I'll bet sambuca would do the trick, or some good Canadian Rye Whiskey!

i found out that my 81 f-100 likes everclear one night i was sitting in my apartment parking lot drinking some everclear and dr. pepper well i was about o mix me another one so i opened the tool box to get the bottle out and i mixed my next drink and as i went to put it back up i saw a cop driving thru the lot so i had to get rid of the everclear so in my panicked state since im only 20 i poured about 5 shots worth in my tank and started my truck she idled the best that time then ever b4

do not under any circumstances mix Jack and Dr pepper, worst combo ever! now 4 shots of jack and a can of coke, now thats the life!
