07 Expedition Rear Seat Removal
Hello,
I am outfitting a new Expedition as a National Park Service vehicle. I need to remove the rear seats to fit the prisoner shield in and would like to do it without breaking any plastic. That costs money.
Does anyone have any tips on getting the back seats out? I tried searching but just found a bunch of posts about switching cloth to leather, etc.
Thanks!

And now I will answer my own question. Perhaps this will help someone else in the future.
Along the front edge of each tumbling seats is a plastic trip piece which pulls out easily. Under that are 2 15mm bolts. The rear plastic piece is a bit more difficult to pull off. The seat has to be flipped up like you are going to enter the way back area. It is quite difficult to pull off but it does come up with enough force. Hopefully these pieces are not too expensive to replace if they break. Under that piece are the remaining 2 15mm bolts holding down the seat.
Repeat for other seat.
