Truck Caps for 73-79's

Other than the factory Ford truck caps that were offered as an option, is there a brand or model of truck cap being made that looks really good on a 73-79? (i,e, matches the height of the cab roof, style looks like it came from factory, etc)

Try looking at the aftermarket parts sponsors.

"Raider" ..Toppers rings a bell

There are so many to choose from you shouldn't have any problem.
Here in the the town I live in a truck place stocks about 500 tops for trucks.

Thanks - I'll do some more looking around. So far, none of the cap (or canopy)models I've seen have a version specifically designed for the lines of the 73-79 Ford (such as matching the angle of the back of the cab and the same roofline height). I've noticed many versions designed to pefectly match the newer trucks (giving them that large suv look), but nothing for Ford trucks older the '97's).

If you can find somebody that still has '96 or older toppers (or the used market) you'll be in business - been there , done that. Had an old fiberglass "factory" topper from a '75 on my '97 F-350 for quite awhile and it all matched up perfectly.
