ok, so im looking to add alot of power to my 390, and i dont really want to pay 3700 for the blower/supercharger....whatever you want to call it, so im wondering how i can put a turbo on my truck. any help is appreciated.

Even If you build a system yourself your going to spend that much!

 

A man after my own heart! Nothing is better than a turbo for pure performance. Screw superchargers, wanna make some real power? Go with a turbo. I'm sure it can be done, but like it was mentioned before, it's could cost more. Mostly, you need lower compression, lots of plumbing, intercooling would be good on an FE, you would most likely have to fab up a custom header. Ah crap, as much as I love the idea, it'd be cheaper to go with NOS.
