Black Smoke

I just had an injector changed on my 03 6.0, I am still getting a rough idle and acceleration out of it. Also when I accelerate I get black smoke from the exhaust, some times heavy some times light. I’m thinking if I disconnect the EGR this will help. any thoughts??

Thanks
Attila

What is the best way to disconnect the EGR. And also how do I clean out that area that the EGR is in. That part that goes all around the top of the motor. I don't know what you call it.
