I ment abeville. I would have to trailer her. 8 to 10 miles to the gallon would be an expensive trip. Plus you never know when I'll break something. About 2 months ago I went to a bog around the house and blew a radiator hose and a clutch hose. I drove it 35 miles with no clutch pedal. When I had to stop I had to kill it and crank it in gear. I guess that I got Vill Platte from looking at your location.

 

I got an idea....on the weekend of Aug 25th.........in Alexandria...on Lake Buhlow...there will be an Outboard 1/4 Mile Drag Race event.....maybe the guys can meet there for a gathering and watch the event ?

 

That would be great. I have seen the boat races before. Unfortunantly i'll be at work. Maybe blksiryder will be able to attend with some people.

 

i'm in for the mudd hole and the boat race. just give me a time and place its like 5-7 hours to the boat race from new orleans.

 

If that boat race is in Alexandria that should only be a 4 hour drive from NO.
Abbeville should be about a 3-4 hour drive from NO too.
I'll keep looking or call the guy that owns the mud bog in Duhon's to see when the next event will be.(he keeps canceling do to all the rain(it messes up his parking lot)).

 

There are a couple of places around Monroe that has mudraces and mud bogs. One is right by the drag strip. The other is in sikes

 

abbeville is like 2.5-3 to drive. but i'm down i just nee to get me front end done. it's really being a pain in the ace. oh well just newer and better parts.
