do the 07 F250 4x4's already sit level?
I've got a friend with an 07 and he's wanting to lift it 2" so at first I thought of a leveling it, but after looking at his truck on level ground it sits almost perfectly level already and we definitely don't want the front higher than the rear. So did Ford change something for 07? Does anyone make a lift that would raise the front and rear 2"
Also, is the rear spring rate different between the F250 and F350 or only the block height?

I measured my 2005 with my friend's 2005, the difference being his is an F350 and mine is an F250, and the engines. His sat one inch lower in the front and one inch higher in the rear than mine. Mine sat level, his was two inches higher in the rear than the front of his.
He has the PSD, I have the V10. I think the weight of the PSD tends to make is sit lower in the front than the gas engines and therefore it will have more of a rake.

Level?
Ford designs trucks for carrying loads, doing real work. I'am talking a bed full of stuff, or pulling a loaded trialer.
Thats why you buy an Superduty F-250 all the way up to F-650s.
The rear is higher when the bed is empty. The springs are only sitting on the first couple of leafs. The lighter softer leafs. All this for a smoother ride.
As the truck load is increased. The springs compress, bringing the bigger thicker leafs into contact. Add more weight, on some models the over loads go to work.
Then again on some speacial models like camper specials the leaf springs have to be heavy duty from the start with over load springs. No soft springs.
The American truck buyer is hard to please. Some by a big *** Superduty to carry nothing heaver than grocerys.
I bought my Superduty to carry heavy loads. It does the job just fine with out the addition of over loads or air bags.
Now Ford could offer a self leveling suspension but how much extra are you willing to pay just so it looks level?
Thats why Ford makes the F-150
