Wheel Bearing Replacement

Finally diagnosed the clunking in the rearend and its the passenger side wheel bearing. The only problem with that is I have no idea how to do the bearing or seals. So I was wondering if somebody had a link to step by step instructions on how to do it or a link to somewhere.

What truck do you have? 8.8s are the easiest to do axle bearings on. Just pop the cover, the c-clip and pull the axle.

Its a 99 f-159 is a 4x4 off-road with 3.73 gears I think its the 9.75 but I'm not sure. It also has the limited slip.

I would recommend picking up a Chiltons manual for the truck, it'll give you very detailed instructions and torque specs, which are critical in the rear diff. I'm not familiar with the 9.75 rear. You might do a quick search in the rear diff forum, further down the main index.
