Chip Programming

I added a larger throttle body to my 97 F150 and after reading other threads I am considering weather or not to have my chip reprogrammed? I went from a stock throttle body to a 75mm throttle body. The stock one is like a 67mm or 68mm isn't it? At the same time I also put in a transgo shift kit, do any changes need to be made to my chip because of the shift kit?

Rad: I would not reccommend leaving the chip in with a shift kit. The chip raises the transmission fluid pressure by 20%, the shift kit also raises the pressure. Most likely too much pressure, could cause failure. Your truck would run much beter with a custom program. Your ecu is not calibrated for the larger TB.
Thanks

How much will custom programming cost? Currently I have a diablosport chip , should I just sell it? I have only had it for a matter of months. How can I calibrate my ecu for the larger throttle body?

Rad: We can get Diablo to write a custom program for you. The price on the site here is $125.00 for the addition of a custom program. I will then reprogram your Diablo with the new program, no need to buy another chip. Give me a call and I will mail you the custom order forms to fill out, you send them back to me and I will get the program written. Time frame to write the program is about 2 weeks. You can keep your chip until I have the program ready, then ship it to me, I will reprogram and ship it back to you the same day. any questions call 1-877-399-6417
Thanks
