Fw1 – Waterless Formula

Well my wife came home last night with a 4+1 can package of these auto cleaner products. She paid $50 for the 5 cans, but it looks like some expensive stuff if purchased individually. They were conducting some promotional sale at the Shell Gas Station she stopped at. She purchased the 4 pack of these products (FW1, TS2, GP3 & CU4) and got an extra can of FW1 supposedly for free.

My question is, has anyone heard or used these products before?

Anyone know the chemicals used and whether they'd hurt the paint?

They don't specify any items it contains on the can. Of course FW1 is a wash/wax product, TS2 is for tires and rubber products, GP3 is a basic cleaner that it states should not be used on painted surfaces and CU4 is an upholstery cleaner for seats and floor boards.

FW1 – WATERLESS FORMULA: A high performance cleaning wax in an aerosol can. Clean and wax an average sized vehicle in under 30 minutes and one can will do that same car 3-4 times! Save both time and money! It’s just that simple

TS2 – TRIM & TIRE SHINE: Provides an ultra black glossy shine that's long lasting and water resistant. Easy one step application and low sling formula means no wast.

GP3 – GENERAL PURPOSE CLEANER: GP3 general purpose formula is designed to penetrate and break up oil, grease, dirt and soil with minimum effort. This special formulation cleans steel, plastic, rubber, tile, chrome, baked enamel objects and even glass!

CU4 – CARPET UPHOLSTERY CLEANER: The perfect companion for the Car and Home, CU4 interior treatment, deodorizes, removes stains, and protects upholstery, fabric, and carpet...without wasting time or water! CU4 eliminates both set-in stains and stubborn odors.

Always skeptical of trying new and unknown products. Especially on my '06 F150.

I may try this on my mothers '96 Nissan since she has already ruined the paint with a scratch pad (she tried to remove tree sap and tar).

Funny thing is I've found this same 4 pack on the net priced anywhere from $29.95 to $132.99.

I hate waterless car wash. I'd suggest trying it on a small spot, maybe on the underhood paint.

You will have to change your technique depending on how dirty the surface is. If it is really dirty, spray/use a little more Fw1. Use many clean parts of MF towels, and wipe clean. And always remember, the product is a spray and wipe... not spray and rub. MF towels don't like to glide over the paint, rather grab onto the paint... increasing the possibility of marring.

Ultraluster Waterless Carwash is the Best!!!

Hands down I have to say that Ultraluster Waterless Carwash is the best waterless carwash I have ever used. I have compared the Formula Waterless Wax FW1 to the Ultraluster and there is a diffrence Ultraluster beats them hands down.
Don't take my word for it check it out for your self.... Goto Home (J.I.T. Detailing Services)
I like it so much that I have been using it on my own vehicles for the past year and a half and I even started my own detailing service using Ultralusters products along with some Maquires products too.
If you dont like Ultralusters productsit there is a money back guarantee. What more need I say?
For more information contact me direct 248-709-3088 ask for Mike.

LMAO, two one posters talking up a product.

MAQUIRES? you would think if he is a detailer using the products you could at least get close to the correct spelling of Meguiar's.

I think the admin should delete these post or the entire thread.
