Chip questions on a 5.4L f250

Does anybody knwo if i chip in my truck would make that big of a diff? I want the rear end to burn out. I cant get it to do much of anything. Im hopeing that the reason it is doing what it does is because the chip is somehow limiting the engin from doing much of anything. Anybody have experience with chips in this type of aplication? I woudl apreciate your feed back.

Chip questions on a 5.4L f250

Sean: I am afraid that it will require quite a bit more than a chip to spin your tires, maybe, a Supercharger!!! Most F-150's will not spin the tires on takeoff. Just a few numbers for you to consider.Below are the Curb weights for various configurations on 4X4 Ford Trucks.

F-250 F-150
Std Cab 5650 4300
SprCab 6139 4900
CrewCab 6406 SuperCrew 5100

As you can see, the F-250's are from 1200-1400 pounds heavire than a F-150. The 5.4 in the F-250 is rated at 265 HP.
