Smile Alaska Chapter Leader

As most of ya know Mike has asked to step down. Is anyone interested in taking over the Mantel? He has asked me as he has others. What do ya all think? Any and all pros and cons welcome. Please post up folks and let us know. I don't know if I can do any good but I do have more time. But that could change. Lets hear your opinions and weather or not anyone is interested.
As for me I joined FTE to help others with my mechanical experience.
And living in South East has me at a disadvantage for putting anything together for the rest of the State as I only know south of Anchorage. Again please let us know your thoughts on this.

Alaska is so large there should be regional leaders so we can devide up the state.. fairbanks, south central, south east, anchorage, and mat su valley

no one can make most the meetings if there is just one.. i mean really who is going ot drive to fairbanks from anchorage or lower to go to a FTE meeting?

I'm going to bump this guys. I just made a lengthy post in the slacker of a leader thread. I was and guess I still am the regional leader for the Mat-Su Valley. I will continue in this role if know one else want's it. I gave it up last summer because I was planning on leaving the state, but plans changed over the winter and I'll be here at least for the next few years.

It's good to see the regions have reps. As for FTE I think they will still require a Chapter Leader for the State. Just keep that in mind. For now lets get the regional chapter set up and go from there. I will post more tonight, gota go watch Shrek for dinner break.
