Central Texas Organized Get-Together (ideas)
I'm thinking sometime in June we should organize a massive get together again.. Perhaps including a small fee for food.. My buddy and I have a 16 foot smoker that we can do Brisket and Chicken.. Grant it he drives a Chebby but I'm sure we can make an exception for his grilling abilities..
Gimme some input

Its all up in the air.. Location unknown, people unknown.. Trying to get input so maybe I can organize it some... I talked to my buddy and he said hes game for cooking.. It would end up being an affair that he and I show up a day prior and pitch a tent so we can smoke.. Depending on amount of people it could take 16 hrs to smoke the food..

Ok scratch Waco, that's totally understandable.
Georgetown may be a bit of a drive for some of the Northern guys. I think we need to face the fact that probably 90% of the people who attend will be the guys who went to either the CenTex G2G or the NE Tex G2G.
They made the attemps to attend already, so make it most convenient for those people. JMO of course.

Nah, I'd go to Waco, just not thrilled with it. I was kinda kidding about G-town. Meeting in the middle is better most likely. We need to figure out who is interested and a ratio of general locations. We probably won't have an idea of that until we HAVE a more definite location though...chicken and egg scenario.
If you are reading this, and more than halfway interested, let everyone know! Give us some general idea of your driving limits (and where you're coming from). This isn't a commitment to attend, we just need some general ideas.
If we had 75% Dallas area people interested, 15% Austin and 10% other, I'd even suggest more north than Waco.
We've had almost 100 people read this, surely more than 5 are interested.
