Thumbs up Exhaust mufflers on a 352

Thank you to everyone who told me about replacing my bench seat with buckets. I am checking out what I can find and hope to do this real soon. I also have one more question. What type of mufflers sound real good on a 352? I had dual exhaust put on about 8 years ago but I want to replace the mufflers now. Old style glass packs, new flowmasters? Any suggestions? You all have the good answers. Thanks for all your help.

Magnaflow.
Buy the stainless ones. Worth the extra $ as they will last forever.

Well really depends what sound you looking for aggresive would be flowmaster for sure 40s is the loudest 50 60 and then on gets quieter, looking for a snap or raspy sound glasspacks will do that they pop and crackle over time or also known as (bottle mufflers) or you could go straight pipe

My suggestion if you want to spend your money well spend the extra get stainless steel mufflers like magnaflow or flowmaster excellent warranty and they will last forever like ddavid said!

If you wana know what a Flowmaster Serries 40 sounds like on a stock 352, then heres a video of mine. Its stock engine, true duals, no crossover, 2 1/4" pipes. http://s75.photobucket.com/albums/i2...t=PICT0001.flv

The mufflers are aluminized, thus far i havnt had any problems with them.

Ditto on the Magnaflows. Excellent sound, not as droney as the "Blowmasters", better performance.
