Dual Exhaust????

Got a 90 E350, 7.3; got a duplicate van w/no motor or trans. Wondering if it would be advantageous to install a dual exhaust & the K & N air filter system?

Thanks Tater

If you have a front mounted tank you'll find the dual exhaust too much trouble, have 2 1/2" pipe come from the engine to a Y into a 3"-3 1/2" single, or you could go with a 5" from a truck kit. If you have a turbo the larger tail pipe the better performance.

Duals are a great addition but to really take advantage you may need an aftermarket computer chip like SuperChips or Diablo.

I have chips in my E-150 and Mustang and will soon add to my Lincoln Mark VIII. Only drawback for gas motors is you have to use premium fuel. I had the van chip programmed for heavy tow duty and it really saved my transmission. When I stopped towing a couple of years ago I had it reprogrammed for performance.
