I have serious movement of my steering wheel from the tilt area.('78 Bronco). I actually must hold 'up' the steering wheel to keep it from resting in my lap! I have been told that if I remove the steering wheel and the turn signal apparatus, I will find two bolts that secure the upper part or the steering wheel to the tilt portion? And, all I most likely will need to do is tighten the two nuts?? That simple, maybe??? I can not find a repair manual (know of one?) that details my Bronco that well!
I you can find a Mitchell manual for the steering and suspension it usually has a exploded view of the steering column. These are geared toward professional shops so im not sure where to tell you to look for one.
