I know i can fit 33s on my dads/mine 97 f150 4x4 offroad, but i think i remember hearing that 33/12.50's wont fit on there stock. So just curious what it would take to be able to run those, or even if i could run them stock with minimal rubbing? I'm thinking torsion key up front and 2 in blocks in the rear for a temporary little lift. Any help or comments are appreciated, thanks.
The stock 265/70r17's are 31.7" tall and 10.5" wide. You would need wider wheels, probably at least 9" wide. You may have to trim a little in the front, depending on the offset of the wheel.
I have 33x11.50's on my truck, and there is more than enough room for an extra inch of width. I say it should be just fine stock. If worse comes to worse, just trim a little off the plastic air-dam
yeah i was just wondering if i could fit the extra inch, i kinda wanted to tires to stick out a little more, but i guess ill go with 285's, real nice truck btw, im looking at gettin them tires
i think im going to stick with the stock wheels for now. In the future i plan on puttin a 6 in lift on it and puttin 16x10in wheels on when i get the money, so for now im sticking with the stock wheels.
