I had/owned two vehicles with 7.3. a F350 and an excursion.
Still have the excursion. I have replace several times on both 7.3's the cam sensers and injectors and the wiring. Also on my 3rd alternator on the excursion. Which is why I kind of snicker when people talk how great the 7.3 was. I had issue with the 7.3's but none with the 6.0. Go figure.
Can hardly wait for the 6.4 to arrive. (unfortunatly it is an auto and not a manual )
And yes, I am looking into the gear vendor system.
I was hoping someone else may have tried it out by now.

Mine's scheduled to be built on 5/21. Can hardly wait. It might even arrive on my BD. Would be a great present.
From what I have been reading sounds like everyone else has been really enjoying theirs. I feel left out of all the fun.
