Grand Rod Run , Gatlingburg TN
just got back home from Smokin in the Smokies in Gatlingburg TN. it was cool, but the grand hotel rod run was going on in pigion forge and that was one helluva car show wall to wall hot rods and vintage cars. this thing was huge, cars on both sides of the main drag from one end to the other in Pigion Forge. this would be a cool place and time for a multistate gtg. they have another rod run this fall I'll get some info and let you folks know the dates.

Yeah they do 2 actual rod runs in the fall, ones the Shades of the Past run and the others the Grand Run. We'll be at the Shades Run with our 68 SS,if ya'll plan on going....all I can say is call NOW and try and get a room, and good luck !!
That is the largest show they hold up there, atleast 4,000 plus cars registered for the show and that's not counting the ones that aren't.I'd have to say there has to be 15k - 20,000 cars in the towns for the weekend, almost anything you want to see.... it'll be there !!

MAKO314 - I think I've seen The back of that truck for real, some days ago. LOL. The trip back from Charlotte was WET till I crossed over into TN. THANX for the "Diagnostic" book. It's helped out a few of us less fortunate here. Any more info on the Cherokee GTG ? If it's a go, I need to get the trophies for the games ( how many - 1st only or 1st & 2d )
