What is the year, model, engine, auto or manual transmision? I have a feeling that some one that owned the truck before you had a bad hub and wentout and did a swap and got the wrong kind. but depending on which 4x4 system you have will depend on which hub is the wrong one. so do you have the floor shifter or the ESOF switch on the dash?

Do you still have a factory warranty PWRSTROKE? if you do I would recomend takeing it in and haveing them either explain to you why you have mis-matched hubs and maybe they will replace the one that is wrong.....unless I am mistaken and the trucks with a floor 4x4 shift have this setup. I am really not sure cause I have the ESOF switch on the dash and both my hubs say Auto-------Lock and I have no experiance with superduties with the floor shifter. Your best bet would be to go to the Ford dealer and ask them or go look at a superduty that has the floorshift 4x4 and see how that one is set up, or possibly some one who knows more than me will come to your rescue and give you a straight answer.

Pwrstroke I recommend you take your truck in. Because your truck has the manual 4x4 shift lever your truck should have two free/lock hubs. The auto/lock hub will still function manually like the free/lock hub but since your truck in under warranty I would make it right. My guess is there was mix up on the assembly line.
