My aero has GM parts, parts of Mercedes truck, Volvo truck, Lada, VW, Volga, Gaselle, UAZ.... And no problem with implantation.
besides my Aero, i did have a 2002 Chevy S10, but i jsut had to sell that cause i lost my job and couldnt make the payments on it. so my wife and i share the Aero and thats fine cause i just had a knee injury and probably cant drive anyway lol
'98 Ranger 3.0 4x4 Extended Cab. If these two vehicles were ever kissing cousins in the past, you couldn't prove it by me. I can't stand the Ranger with its choppy, kidney punch ride quality. The 3.0 is bog slow compared to the 4.0 Aerostar. To make matters worse, the old '91 Aerostar has a higher tow capacity than the Ranger with its beefy suspension. Go figure! The Ranger is currently wearing a For Sale sign.
Ours is a diverse vehicle family: '96 Aerostar, '51 Ford F1, '50 ****** Jeepster Convertible, and 2004 Prius. All are stock but the '51 Ford with 302 and C4.
'97Aero 3.0 shorty with plenty of power.
'38 Plymouth P6 coupe, '48 Dodge 230 engine, 3 on the floor, everyday driver used around town for shopping, errands etc. Blast to drive. Lots of thumbs up.

Jeep Cherokee Sport, Chevy Cavalier, Ford Contour, Ford Aerostar.
I never really developed any brand loyalty. I've always been more interested in reliability and low maintenance cost. I look for vehicles that have demonstrated those traits.
If the Aero was still in production, I'd definitely consider buying another new one.
