I do see the Scion in it but, IMO, it looks much better. I like it. Looks/sounds very functional and will have s decent amount of power.
Yes, it is boxy...but that gives you more room inside. I dig the white roof, that will keep it much cooler around here. A white roof without having to have the entire car white ("refrigerator on wheels" when it's a boxy wagon) is good.
I see Scion and I see Mini, I fail to any PT Cruiser in it.

I just watched the video they added. One thing I didn't like is the rear gate/door panel. It would be just fine painted the maroon too.
Up to 7 passengers with stowable seats, I was wondering how it would look inside. That will be a big selling point for sure.
Some might also see just a bit of Land Rover in it...

And a LOT of Range Rover influences.
This car makes a LOT more sense than the Taurus X...
If they made one with a 4V 4.6, 6 speed stick, RWD, and they dumped it on its guts... this car would have my name written all over it.
But saddly I don't think those options will be available... (however the 2.7l V6 diesel would be a great sales option...)
I really like the headlights on it.
