PI/non-PI fuel rails, interchangable?

Are the injectors spaced the same on 96-8 and 99+ manifolds?

In all of the PI conversions I have read about I can't remember anyone talking about fuel rails.

I'm pretty sure that they are the same.

On the subject of rails. Between the regulator and rails, I have one inlet and two outlets. I haven't looked yet, but on a return system how lines connect to the tank?

I expect one high pressure feed line and one return. So I think I will have Y the fuel pressure regulator return and regulator output together.

There should be a supply and a return to the tank. The two rails probably y together before the regulator.

I am beinging to think my kit is not much of a kit, I have one hose that is a cross over and not enough fittings or I am short a plug for the regulator.

I guess I will scrap the braided cross over hose and do my plumbing in aeroquip socketless/push-on hose.
