Mustang tank sending unit ?

Did anyone who has done the Mustang 20 gal tank install get the resistance values of the sending unit? I bought the F28C 1969 Mustang/Cougar tank and SUF28C 1969Mustang/Cougar sending unit from Quanta. Of course when installing shiny new things I can't be bothered with checking resistance of the float assy. It's time to start looking at guages so I need to gather all the info from my various sending units.

Thanks for the link John, you just saved me a bunch of money. I was planning on buying one of the aluminum kits that run in excess of $500. -- Chuck

Thx John. Do you know if you have the same s/u? I thought maybe they would be different between the 16, 20 & 22 gal.

They are different sending units. The arm has to bent a certain way for it to send the correct reading to the gauge.
