Havent been here for a while

We have been busy as hell - got the last of our grain hauled in and all seed for next year is cleaned. We will spend a day or so moving some bales onto higher ground for when it gets soft. Corrals need some snow pushed out so it stays drier and our handling system, alley ways, and crowding tub are full of snow. We have to get on this soon! Sold my 2002 800 Summit X and am in the hunt for a newer sled before the money gets spent even more foolishly than buying another sled! Bought a set of four new tires w/ zero miles on them for our quad for $125 - they had two sets that were take offs as they upgraded to big tires. A friend and I bought both sets - the old Honda Rubicon will like those. Its a 2001 and has about 9000 km.
I have a funeral to attend on saturday - my cousins 12 year old girl died suddenly - not sure yet as to cause (autopsy being done). Very sad to have to bury someone that young - our family is pretty tight and the support will help my cousin and her husband and their family move forward.
I was talking to a girl at Davids a few days back and she said she was going to wear her green thong for St Patty's day so I must check into that!

Wow, you have been real busy. Do you haul all your grain or hire it done? Around here the ground was soft before this cold hit hard with -26 last nite, now there`s some neat frozen ruts to bounce over.
Smokin deal on the new quad tires, sure beats buying them new!
So sorry to hear about your cousin`s 12 year old daughter, it`s sad life has to end so soon and like this.
Beware of any girl at Davids wearing green thongs, St Patty's day or not!
I have heard some weird rumors about this, don`t think you would want to take her home to meet mom (or anyone else you know).....
The F350 is behaving?

David's lounge is on the south side of circle drive straight off the intersection with millar avenue.
Fomoko - we do some of both. After we sold our trucking company we kept one semi for farm use. Sometimes if we are loading big volumes we dont use ours, just stay focused on loading trucks - this way we can do 10 or more loads per day if all goes well.
The EGR cooler seemed to take care of coolant loss. I think I will get the newest flash for cold weather smoother starts. I now have the 'buzz flash' where the injectors cycle after shutdown to drain oil out of them so it doesnt surge so hard on start up. It helped but the inductive heat flash where they preheat is getting good reviews - a bit more info over at TDS than here. They are slowly getting things sorted out so it will be as good as it was when I first got it.
What you been busy with? Damn slush in yard for a few days was miserable!
Mom might not like the girl but Dad will!!!!

I`ve been trying to clean the pens at the Saskatoon Auction Mart, those warm days made the yard and some of the alleys pretty soft.
Before that there was lots of snow removal around here on the nearby acreages and in Saskatoon.

Lots of hours, we just need the weather to cooperate more. If it gets too warm then the ground turns too soft and then it gets too cold it all freezes rock hard after the melt.
Last year in June there was too much rain so it took a long time to get it done.

Don`t mention rain too often. As much as I like it there are times when it can stay away for a while.
Last fall`s rain was a bummer and then everything frozen rock hard.

Probably a one year old Polaris Dragon RMK. I was a long time Polaris guy but my last two sleds were Skidoo - a 2000 Summit Millenium and a 2002 Summit 800 X. I want to buy a one year old sled (I have always bought new but the first year hit is too much now!!). I have ridden quite a few REV based sleds and a RT1000 and I just dont get comfy on these. Skidoo pioneered the rider forward riding style with the Rev but the others have improved on the ergonomics somewhat. The new for 2008 Skidoo chassis - the XP - has the rider exactly the same as the newer Polaris (some friends rode it at Lintlaw). The only problem with the RMK isthe 155" track for here but out at Revelstoke it will shine with my fat *** on it!! The other option is a Dragon 121 and stretch out to 136 x 1.75 track but not enough for the mntns. Almost need two sleds but can hardly afford one. Some of these had a transferrable three or four year warranty if snow checked.
