I have searched and looked at all these post that are saying to put a supercharger on your 5.4L 2v if you want some serious gains,(LIKE YOU CAN WALK INTO WALL-MART AND BUY ONE!) I cant find anyone who makes a supercharger for the 5.4L motor,(NOT THE FRIGGN 5.4L 3V IN THE 2004 AND UP 150) I have called vortex, paxton, K Bell, Pro charger. If anyone knows who makes a supercharger for the 2004 5.4L 2V 260 hp ford superduty, please help me out! I dont want to hear about buying a Dezl or the v10 either, I owned a Dezl, I bought it from Bullydog themselves, it was sick it was a 2000 7.3 with the propane injection system it was the fastest crewcab long bed on the planet, I loved it after the fourth tranny in two years I got pissed and sold it. Then I bought a new 04 supercrew 150 when they first rolled out, I put a million into it, and then sold it for no reason, It was black, got sick of cleaning it. Now I just bought a mint 2004 SD crewcab sport white, black leather 20k miles on it and I need some performance enhansments asap. I know I have a problem, but the first step is to admit it. I have a feeling you might be out of luck. It seems all companies are dropping any product lines for super duty V8's and V10's. They used to offer a supercharger for V10's all have discontinued them. There were not too many for the 5.4's before. Now there seems to be none. It would have to be a cumstom build and tune I bet.

Maybe Eaton? They dont have any vehicle specific info on there site. Give them a call, they might be able to help.

what is the difference in the 5.4 in a sd vs the 5.4 in the lightening ?

 

You could always go the Nitrous route. That is really going to be about the easiest big horsepower bump that your going to have. Couple that with a tuner and the usual mods and it should be alright. I don't know if Roush makes a supercharger for the F-250 v8s. I know they make one for the f-150 since you find that engine in the 150s I wouldn't see why not, you can always ask if you don't mind spending that much money(however if your wanting the mods bad enough you got to go with what you can get)

 

The SVT F150 Lightining uses the 5.4 2V engine, try eBay for the parts you need.

 

Summit racing has a powerdyne kit listed for the 5.4 SD. It is fairly costly though.

Hmmmmm...... Pro Charger has 2 kits. One for the 2004-2005 5.4L 3v and the 1997-2003 5.4L 2v motors. You would think one of those would work, probably the one for the 2v motors.
