Selling a Bronco???

Hey gang, I am thinking of selling a Bronco and I am not sure about value. I would love to keep the truck, but it doesn't have quite the towing capacity I need for my new travel trailer. I live in Michigan if that helps anyone with a value. I tried looking it up on Kelly Blue Book's site, but I don't have much faith in their values. Its a 95 XLT sport, all white, and in great shape at 112,000 miles. It's loaded and everything works great! Just a little hint of the rust plague beginning on the gate and left rear quarter (small bubbles, no surface rust). Gray cloth interior in excellent shape, Pioneer CD player (but I have the original cassette) and the top has never been off the truck (I know, I know, I just never got around to it) All new brakes (rotors, shoes, pads), new Yokohama Geolander II (31.5 x 10), new flowmaster exhaust (the cat has been removed), K&N filter, Warn Premium manual hubs. This truck is really clean and runs great. I have an idea in mind, but it is higher than KBB and NADA books indicate. I am hoping a few of you Bronco experts can give me a realty check on what such a truck should bring on the market.

Thanks!

Rich

Selling a Bronco???

I bought my 93 XLT just about a year ago for 8000 from a guy my dad knows who owns a used car dealership. The body was in mint condition - none of the usual rust on the tailgate and the back panels. The engine had about 120k on it. Obviously you could get more selling it person to person. I think anywhere from 6-8000 would be a good deal. obviously if that doesnt work out, you'd have to try a dealer or auction and you probably wouldnt get more than 5000. good luck!

Selling a Bronco???

I found that most Broncos over $8000 will have a hard time selling unless you have under 100,000 miles. If you have a 5.8L motor it will help in selling your vehicle faster because that is what people are looking for who haul boats and trailers. It would help if you had your vehicle totally detailed and in mint condition since most people buy on looks. I bought my Bronco 5.8 L XLT for $6000 with 100,000 miles. The only reason I paid him that was because the truck was dealer maintained since it was purchased and he had every receit since it was new. Good luck on selling your Bronco.

Selling a Bronco???

I live in Kalamazoo and have been fighting with myself about keeping my Bronco or selling it. I've been watching the paper for 4 or 5 months and I have not noticed any Bronco last longer than a 1 week cycle in the want ads. I had someone offer me 2K for my 87 Bronco in about the same physical shape as yours minus CD player and it a had a blown motor. I'm gonna ask $6000 for mine (when I get the bugs worked out on the new motor) and have been approached by 3 or 4 people by word of mouth alone. I was hoping that was high enough that no one would buy it and I could get a plow and pay for my toys during these awful winters, but I've been told thats reasonable even before the people find out that its got a 400+ HP motor in it. Ask what you want and if you get no takers rethink it. It would help to get a thoughrough???? vehicle inspection to show when selling. Remember, michigan is 4WD and Ford Country and a full size bronco is the ultimate 4WD Ford. Also when price shopping the the difference between the 351 and 302 is usually about $1000-$1500 for equal condition vehicles.

Selling a Bronco???

I've been trying to sell my '93 Bronco for some time with not even an inquiry. I've tried the local papers, this sites classified section, traderonline.com, etc. Here's a link to a my site where I have a full description: http://www.nothnbut.net/~jdrotert/bronco_pics/bronco.html. I bought a 2001 F-350 crew cab diesel 4x4 and I cannot keep this around. I did plenty of research on Bronco pricing, but found widely varying prices. I'm asking $5800 for mine, but like I said, it has to go. Good luck on yours.
